Red Bud Festival – Stars Shine Bright II Cancelled
Goodtyme Productions unfortunately and regretfully must cancel the Red Bud Festival Event – Stars Shine Bright II scheduled for April 24th (Paintsville) and 25th (Mountain Arts Center) due to lack of interest. There has not been even one submission for the talent showcase or any interest in the seminars and workshops scheduled with Nashville Executives and Songwriters. This is very disappointing considering that there are very few opportunities for the talented performers from this region to have this kind of exposure. It was our intention, with the assistance of producer/songwriter Blake Mevis, to select at least one of the showcase artists from this event to help move their careers to another level. We had some incredible Nashville songwriters scheduled to be here and they could have made a huge difference in at least one person’s future musical career.
We want to thank Jeff Crowe from Tour Southern and Eastern Kentucky for his support and going to bat for us in Eastern Kentucky. We are sorry that this couldn’t have been a more positive and successful experience for everyone.
